INTENSIVE MATHEMATICS (MAT 011)

MATHEMATICS

Chapter 1, 2, and 3.
Prime number, P is a number that is only divisible by 1 and itself with no remainder.
Natural numbers, N are the counting numbers.
Whole numbers, W are numbers consisting of 0 and all the counting numbers.
Integers denoted, Z are numbers consisting of negative integers (Zˉ) , 0 , and positive integers (Z+).
Rational numbers, Q is a number that can be written in the form of P/Q where P and Q are integers and Q ≠ 0 that terminates or repeats in its decimal represation. 



















Chapter 4



           where P = amount invested  or borrowed or commonly known as principal
                     r = rate of interest earned or charged
                     t = loan or investment period
                     I = interest earned or charged
